owner's municipality fills out the 10 Acre Exemption
Worksheet, dates and signs it, and sends it back to the WCSC
office. |
Qualified Officer of the Municipality |
| 5. |
If the 10 Acre Exemption Worksheet
verifies the property owner's qualifications to apply
for a 10 Acre Exemption, the WCSC assigns a Sewage Enforcement Officer (SEO)
to the 10 Acre Exemption application. |
WCSC |

The SEO will call the property
owner to schedule an inspection appointment. |
SEO |
| 7. |
The SEO inspects the property and determines if
the property owner qualifies for the 10 Acre Exemption -
particularly if the property meets the
required isolation distances from the proposed septic
system site. |
SEO |
| 8. |
The WCSC/SEO will notify the property
owner whether the exemption is granted or
denied. |
WCSC/SEO |
| 9. |
If the exemption is granted, an official

for obtaining your building permit from your
municipality. |
