Description
In the event a property fails a percolation test, there are
several alternate systems that the property owner may consider
for residential use. These include:
-
Drip
Irrigation System
-
A-B
Wastewater Disposal System
-
Individual
Spray Irrigation System
-
Small
Flow Stream Discharge System
Maintenance
Agreements
All of the above systems require a maintenance
agreement. A Drip Irrigation System will need to have a
maintenance agreement with the manufacturer. The other
three will need to have a maintenance agreement with your
municipality.
Note:
Drafts of the various maintenance agreements are available at
the WCSC office.
Alternate
Systems using Sand Mounds
There are other alternate systems that allow a sand mound
to be smaller as well as less conspicuous. These
include:
-
Aerobic
Pump System
-
At
Grade Eco-Flo Peat Moss System
-
Free
Access Sand Filter Systems
