Description
The purpose of a dye test is to determine if there is a
malfunction of an on-lot sewage septic system. This is
done by introducing a strong dye into the system typically
through a toilet, sink or "take out". As water
is run through the system, this (non-toxic and non-staining) dye will create a visible
trace of any possible seepage or discharge to the surface.
