Description
A Sewage Permit is required for new, repair and holding tank
applications. These three scenarios are described
further below.
New
Applications
A
New application is used when there is no existing on-lot
sewage septic system on the property.
Repair
Applications
A
Repair application is used if your existing on-lot sewage
system needs to be fixed or replaced.
(Note:
If you are replacing your existing system with a new system,
it is still a repair application. As defined above, new
applications are only used when the lot has no current sewage
system.)
Holding
Tank Application
A
Holding Tank application is used in two scenarios.
First, it is used when there is no other way to eliminate a
malfunctioning system. Secondly, it is used when the
property is a qualifying commercial property and has 800
gallons water flow or less per day.
