The following items are
needed at the time you apply for a Visual Inspection:

Directions
to and map of property if available.
-
Property
Tax ID Number (optional).

Driver's
License Photo ID of applicant.

Application
fee (see the Fee Schedule for your specific fee)

If you
are not the property owner, we need a written and
signed note from the property owner giving you
permission to do a visual inspection on their property.

Bring the
above items to the Washington County Sewage Council (WCSC) office and make application for the Visual
Inspection.

A Sewage Enforcement Officer (SEO)
will be assigned to your Visual Inspection application. |

You then make an appointment with the SEO
to do the Visual Inspection. |

The SEO will conduct the Visual
Inspection and will determine if the existing on-lot sewage septic
system passes or fails the inspection. |

The SEO will notify the property
owner whether the system passed or failed the Visual
Inspection. |

If the system passes, no further action is
required by the property owner.
If the system fails, the property owner must move
forward with fixing the existing malfunction. |
